What You’ll Do:
- Safely operate a fixed-route MARTY bus on schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
- Assist riders with boarding, seating, and mobility devices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch via GPS, tablet, and two-way radio.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and transit safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bus throughout your shift.
What You Need to Qualify:
- Valid Florida CDL (Class B) with Passenger Endorsement.
- At least 5 years of driving history with a clean record.
- Valid DOT Medical Certification.
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Martin County roads and landmarks.
- Experience in passenger transportation or public transit.
- Knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations.
